Relaxing Before your Niagara Falls Wedding Day
Your Niagara Falls wedding day is nearly here and you’re starting to feel panicked and a little on edge. Don’t. You won’t want to feel stressed and harried on your glorious wedding day in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake. You want to be refreshed and relaxed and ready to enjoy every minute of it. Here are some tips on relaxing before your Niagara Falls wedding day!
Especially if you know you’re going to be a bride who’s on edge the day before your wedding, make sure you have taken the time to plan ahead. Don’t leave many details to the end and don’t fill your schedule in the days prior to your wedding day with non-stop parties. Perhaps it would be a good idea to hold your rehearsal dinner two nights before the wedding and leave the night before empty – for relaxing.
Ask For Help
Ask your bridal party and those closest to you for help with the last minute running around for your wedding. You don’t need to call the caterer with a quick question or run around yourself delivering welcome bags to your guests’ Niagara Falls hotel rooms. Have someone else do that for you while you do something else – or nothing.
If you can handle sitting around with a good book, watching your favourite romcom or doing nothing at all, then by all means. You will have done a lot of planning and work up until this day, and your wedding day will be a full day, both emotionally and physically. Allow yourself to relax and do nothing the day before your wedding.
Many brides will treat themselves to a spa day or some sort of pampering the day before the wedding. It’s a great way to release any tension you might be feeling, and it will leave you refreshed and relaxed for the next day. You can go alone or with your bridesmaids for some extra female bonding.
Hit the Pavement
If you’re a runner or you enjoy swimming or biking, then working up a sweat is a great way to relieve stress. It’s a great time to be alone by yourself and with your thoughts.
Plan an Activity
If you like to keep busy, plan an outing with your future husband or with your bridesmaids. Even if you’ve lived in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-Lake your entire life, maybe you’ve never done the Journey Behind the Falls or taken in the Butterfly Conservatory. Or maybe you want to see a new movie? Take some time off to have fun!
Get Plenty of Rest
While it will certainly be difficult to unwind entirely the night before your wedding day, make sure you go to bed at a decent time so you’re at least resting. If there are many guests visiting at your mom’s house, consider staying the night before your wedding in a hotel by yourself or with a couple of your besties. You can watch a great movie on TV, take a dip in the hot tub or pool and be in bed at a good time.
